Registration is Now Open Registration is now open for both the live and on demand Symposium events. Upon registration, attendees will be enrolled in the learning management system PATH through which AG Bell will broadcast all live and on demand events. |
Early Bird rates are available until May 17, 2021 For the same price, attendees can participate in live sessions and network with colleagues through innovative digital forums, while also catching up on missed sessions later on their own schedule during the on demand event. Those who are planning to only attend the on demand virtual Symposium will still pay the same registration fee. Register now to avoid increased costs later on. All sessions are eligible for CEUs from the AG Bell Academy and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Sessions will also be offered in both English and Spanish, orally and with written captions, for both the live and on demand events. |
Great News! Symposium Scholarships Are Back for Students Helping Children with Hearing Loss Learn to Hear and Speak
AG Bell is making it possible for students of audiology, speech-language pathology, and oral deaf education to participate in the 2021 Global Listening and Spoken Language Virtual Symposium!
Between now and April 30, student registration scholarships will be awarded to students in our field thanks in part to a grant through the National Institute on Deafness and Communication Disorders/National Institutes of Health (NIDCD/NIH; 1R13DC018244) as well as additional scholarship funds from AG Bell donors. All eligible* university students are encouraged to apply.
All applicants will also receive a free one-year AG Bell student membership and have access to all the professional resources and materials offered to members.
The student member registration fee of $99 will be honored for students who apply but who do not receive a scholarship.
*Eligible students are those seeking a university degree in audiology, speech-language pathology, and/or oral deaf education. A copy of an official school document will be required to prove student status.
