Symposium Highlights

The official languages of the 2021 AG Bell Global Virtual LSL Symposium are English and Spanish.
Simultaneous translation and real-time captioning will be available in both languages.

Educational Program

The virtual symposium will offer both live and on demand versions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits (CEUs) from the AG Bell Academy, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

The Virtual Symposium program includes:

  • Five keynote presentations
  • 29 concurrent sessions
  • Four hearing innovation forums
  • Two poster + 5-minute podium presentations.

Similar to previous years, three simultaneous concurrent sessions will be offered in each 1- to 1.5-hour time slot throughout the two days of programming.

Participate Live or On Demand, Earn CEUs

Those who register as a professional will have access to the Symposium sessions in a recorded format during a six-week period, July 19 to August 31. They may choose to join the live Symposium June 24 and 25 and interact with colleagues, or view later when their time allows. Only one registration is required whether attendees want to attend the live Symposium, the on-demand Symposium sessions, or a combination of both. Continuing education credit is available for both the live Symposium and on-demand content. Attendees to both the live and on-demand symposiums can earn up to 39.5 hours of CEUs.
