Dr. Jane R. Madell is an audiologist, a speech-language pathologist, and an LSLS Cert. AVT. Her clinical and research interests include hearing in infants and children, management severe/profound hearing loss, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, FM systems, and auditory processing disorders. She has published seven books, numerous book chapters, and articles. She writes the Hearing and Kids section of the HearingHealthMatters.com. Dr. Madell is the recipient of the Marion Downs Award for Excellences in Pediatric Audiology and is an international lecturer on topics related to hearing loss in children.

Kids with hearing loss can be stars! If we do what it takes, they can develop the skills needed for listening, spoken language, literacy and social skills consistent with their hearing friends. Jane and Carol will share what they have learned in their 100 years of combined experience about the auditory brain, audiologic management, and listening and spoken language success. Ask them anything.
