Carol Flexer, Ph.D., FAAA, CCC-A, LSLS Cert. AVT, received her doctorate in audiology from Kent State University in 1982. She is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Audiology at the University of Akron. An international lecturer in pediatric and educational audiology and author of more than 155 publications including 16 books, Dr. Flexer is a past president of the Educational Audiology Association, the American Academy of Audiology, and the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language.

Kids with hearing loss can be stars! If we do what it takes, they can develop the skills needed for listening, spoken language, literacy and social skills consistent with their hearing friends. Jane and Carol will share what they have learned in their 100 years of combined experience about the auditory brain, audiologic management, and listening and spoken language success. Ask them anything.
